EDO STATE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES, IGUORIAKHI
EID AL-ADHA (SALLAH) MESSAGE.
Dear Muslim Faithful,
As Muslims around the world celebrate the sacred occasion of Eid al-Adha, I extend sincere felicitations and warmest greetings to the Muslim Ummah within the Edo State College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Iguoriakhi, Edo State, and beyond.
Eid al-Adha stands as a significant symbol of faith, sacrifice, obedience, and devotion to Almighty Allah. It commemorates the exemplary submission and absolute trust of Prophet Ibrahim (Peace Be Upon Him), whose remarkable act of faith has been a source of inspiration to humanity towards righteousness, humility, selflessness, and total reliance on the will of Almighty Allah.
As we gather in prayers and celebration during this spiritually significant season, may we also reflect deeply on the timeless values of compassion, unity, love, tolerance, and generosity towards one another, especially the less privileged in our society. Beyond the ritual of sacrifice lies a greater lesson of shared humanity, kindness, and peaceful coexistence. Let us therefore continue to promote harmony, mutual respect, and understanding within our College and the larger society.
At a time when our nation yearns for greater peace, stability, and progress, this sacred celebration offers us another opportunity to pray for our dear Edo State under the leadership of the practical Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, while reaffirming our collective commitment to nation-building, unity, and the advancement of humanity.
To all my Muslim brothers and sisters, particularly members of the ECANR community, I pray that this blessed occasion brings renewed hope, abundant joy, divine favour, sound health, and lasting peace to every family and home.
Eid Mubarak!
Warm regards,
Signed:
Andrew Osaigbovo Omosefe, PhD, FCPM.
